Sponsors for our Adult ADD Awareness event at Techvibes

by Pete Quily on March 29, 2005

More on our ADD awareness project at the Techvibe Massive Tech Conference And Expo. Techvibes has offered us a table at their show at a greatly reduced price, thanks Mike!

Luckily for non profit groups like us on a low budget, we have recently got some sponsors to donate some prizes to raffle off for our table at the show.

Jeff Hamilton of PBC Incorporated here in Vancouver has generously offered to donate two, count em, two 5 user site licences of his companies organizational software, team Headquarters, an enterprise web based operations and analytical tool, combining project management, help desk, document management, resource management etc. Each one is valued at $5,000. So hopefully a ten grand give away might get our non profit Vancouver Adult ADD Support Group’s table some attention.

I’ll be also raffling of a months free ADD coaching, dollar figure, less than 10K. Price, invaluable.

Leslie Coull from the Eaton Coull Learning Group has generously offered our group several copies of her stories of hope book one.

“A collection of inspiring stories of success from 14 successful adults with learning differences, this book features personal accounts of struggles and triumphs, challenges and achievements.

Representing a variety of cultures, socio-economic backgrounds, learning styles and careers, each of these remarkable individuals openly discusses their experiences of growing up and succeeding with a learning challenge.

This is a book for anyone who every needed proof that dreams are there to be pursued- and that with conviction, passion and foresight, anything is possible.”
