Pete interviewed in Metro Newspaper on Adult ADD at Work

by Pete Quily on May 3, 2006

Finally got my interview published in Metro Newspaper today in the Toronto edition, unfortunately not the Vancouver one, but fortunately the online edition version. I’ve now learned not to predict when an article is coming out since both I and the reporter have no control over the when, that’s the editors decision.

Title of the article was Attention disorders can affect work and was written by Jill Andrew who writes articles and has a weekly column at Metro Newspaper as well as her own multiple entrepreneur website. Check it out, she’s quite the renaissance woman.

It’s a short article but hopefully will help raise awareness of Adult ADD in the workplace. I have other article on Adult ADHD at work on my 100 page + ADD resource website if you want to read more about the topic. While there are some definite challenges with having ADD in the workplace, there are some advantages of having ADD at work too. Check out my blog post that got 22,000 unique hits on one day Top 10 Advantages of ADD in a High Tech Career , to see the other side of ADD.

If you think you or someone you know might have ADD at work, you might want to take a look at the Harvard Adult ADHD screening test on my website, it’s takes 5 minutes to do and is one of the most popular pages on my site.
