I think it&#039;s really important that all doctors, psychologist and psychiatrist be taught how to diagnose ADHD in adults and also taught about the different ways to manage it.

I&#039;ve heard too many stories of people suffering for years because a non diagnosis or a incorrect one.</description>

		<description>Diagnosis for ADD/ADHD needs to be placed in DSM-IV under adults as well as under children.  Many adults are not considered for this diagnosis when it should be always be screened by the mental health professional along with psychosis, neurosis and character disorders.  When ADD/ADHD are not considered as authentic adult diagnoses many adults are mis dxed as bi-polar, character disorder, or given a hodge-podge of symptomatic descriptions.</description>
