10 Vancouver Related Google Maps Mashups
Here are some Vancouver related google map mashups, or mashups in which you can scroll to search for Vancouver related items. Thought some visitors to Vancouver for the Northern Voice Blogging conference might stay around for a few days to check out our fair and expensive city.
Most of these come from searching through the excellent Google Maps Mania blog

Late Night Stores, restaurants, coffee shops beer stores etc.
WalkJogRun Route List scroll to find vancouver
Tourism Vancouver’s new interactive map not a google one but interesting nonetheless. You can search by category, restaurants, entertainment, nightlife, sightseeing, transportation, cultural events etc. Very cool. Their main map’s website includes links to virtual tours ie chinatown, kit’s beach, Queen Elizabeth park etc.
And every featured tourism business can link to their location on the map from their own website by going to TMN’s Map It Link portal
Pixel Developments Seawall and Stanley Park map with photos
Trails in BC by city, trail name, activity type, difficulty
Vancouver housing/ apartment maps search by type, area and price.
Find Starbucks and Tim Hortons in the US and Canada
Wifi Coffee Shops in Vancouver. A wiki based by name, neighbourhood, major street and type of coffee shop ie open mic, organic, patio, 24 hours vegetarian friendly etc. Unfortunately their map section is currently down but you can still use the wiki

cool mashup you’ve created.
Many ADDers self medicate positively through exercise since it boosts dopamine (the focusing neurotransmitter), norepinepherine, serotonin and beta endorphins. It’s the #1 non medical way to treat ADHD, depression and anxiety. Many of those do it through running. Jeff Hamilton, my co-author of pills the don’t teach skills blog is a regular runner and swears by it’s positive effects.
