Unfortunately Canada is 5-10 years behind the US in dealing with ADD, and Japan is a lot further behind us. Apparently you can only get ritalin and dexedrine there as ADD meds where here there&#039;s a lot more. ADD isn&#039;t just  a north american condition its universal from south african villages to Japan. 

Given that 8% of kids have ADHD, you&#039;ll probably have some in your class. So you might want to check out my section on Teaching Students Who Have ADD http://www.addcoach4u.com/teachingstudents/teachingstudentsadhd.html
