Off to Moose Camp and Northern Voice
I’ll be going to Moosecamp this Friday, and Northern Voice blogging conference here in Vancouver Saturday
I’ve been to a few Vancouver weblogger Meetups before but never a blogging conference. Looks like an interesting lineup. Organized by a large number of Vancouver uber bloggers among others. There’s a large number of well know bloggers from Vancouver. Must be something in the water here. Or the perpetual rain:)
One reason I’m going is to ask Dave Sifrey founder of the blog search engine Technorati to update my blog on Technorati. I’m getting links there but it’s says I haven’t updated in 200+ days, which of course nonsense. I’ve got 37 links on Technorati but they’re still not updating my blog or having me show up under blogfinder under the adult add tag despite have a blog called Adult ADD Strengths with a url of http://adultaddstrengths.com and a google pagerank of 5.
I’ve tried emailing and phoning Technorati for months with no response. Hopefully I’ll get to talk to Dave he’ll get something happening. Or is that just wishful thinking?
Been getting a very good response to my Top 10 Advantages of ADD in a High Tech Career post. It got picked up by Chris Pirillo of Lockergnome fame. Just found out that Chris’s show will be taped live today at Take 5 cafe at 429 Granville near Hastings.
I think that there are many advantages of having ADD as a blogger, maybe I’ll do a post on that sometime.

[...] I’m going to the Northern Voice 2007 blogging conference and Moose camp next week. Went to last year’s conference and learned a lot and had a great time. Got interviewed on Chris Pirillo’s Podcast on my top ten advantages of having ADD in a high tech career post which got dugg, and delicioused during the conference which probably helped contribute to my good mood:) Even today google “Top 10 Advantages” and you’ll find my post pretty high on the list of the 114 million hits. One of the many things that blogs are good for is spreading ideas. Here’s a carefully hidden list of attendees at this year’s conference [...]
