Pete interviewed on CFUN Radio’s Tina Oliver Show Wednesday

I was interviewed (April 5th) on the Tina Oliver talk show on CFUN Radio, AM 1410 (now called Talk 1410) on the Montreal case of an ADHD student expelled for his behavioral problems, while the parent claimed it was because she took her child of Ritalin and refused to put him back on. We also had a few callers. I hope to get the audio file and blog it in the next few days. Tina has ADD and also views it as a strength. One of the main way’s she deals with is running which is a great way to boost Dopamine, Serotonin, and Norepinephrine, 3 neurotransmitters associated with ADHD. I’ve been on her show twice and enjoyed it both times. I don’t know if it’s the host or the medium or both, but I seem to enjoy the spontaneity and interactivity of radio.

  1. First Tina has ADHD not ADD. You are right on how she copes with it. She has managed to life a high functioning life but not without the extreme pain inflicted on her by societies standards. I have found a miracle cure http://www.drswingle.com/ for ADD. My daughter had a very serious case of it so much so that she was extremely handicapped by it. She is now cured.
For some reason Tina is not on the radio station any more I think she was to powerful a woman for the station and she got booted because some bleeding hearts were to sensitive to hear straight forward way of communicating. This is just a guess though because no one is talking.

  2. That’s too bad about Tina, I really enjoyed her show and being on it. She had a great attitude towards ADD.

I don’t know if she was cancelled or quit and not sure you’re right about being in trouble cause she was too powerful a woman.

If you look at the line up of the weekday show, they’re pretty well ALL women.

I contacted the show and got no real info on what happened to her.

    Does anyone else know?

Tina are you out there on another station?
