The barbarians are at it again.
4 bombs were detonated in London, 3 in the Tube (subway stations) and one double decker bus, at this point 37 confirmed dead and hundreds wounded. Could have been even worse, London police found 2 unexploded bombs in the area.
One reader on Daily Kos (webpage deleted) says “Today we are ALL British.”
I agree. I’ve been to London twice many years ago. I remember going into the British Museum when I was 19 and having my pack searched going in, courtesy the bombing war of the IRA. I’ve been in the King’s Cross Station, where one of the bombs went off.
The Brits have been dealing with IRA terrorism for a long time, they’re not new to this like the US was. They’ve didn’t rule the world by being passive, weak and submissive. There’s a lot of steel in the British spine and I think the bombers picked the wrong people to terrorize.
A group calling itself the Secret Organisation Group of al-Qaida of Jihad Organisation in Europe is claiming responsibility, but has not been authenticated. Here’s a link to their statement.
Britain is now burning with fear, terror and panic in its northern, southern, eastern, and western quarters.
